Renee Sapelli is a Partner of Calix Lawyers with more than 20 years of legal experience across Family Law, Wills & Estates and Property.

Renee began her career in 2004 as an Associate at a general practice based in Cairns, later moving to Perth in 2012 working at a Probate specialist firm as a Senior Associate before moving to ANZ as an Estate Planning Solicitor. In 2015, Renee joined Tindall Gask Bently, quickly becoming a Partner in 2017 and moving to Queensland to establish the TGB Brisbane practice.

Renee brings a wealth of experience and a high level of technical expertise across Family Law, Wills & Estates, and litigation. She is known for her strategic, solutions-focused approach, offering clear and practical advice to help clients navigate complex legal issues with confidence. Renee is particularly skilled at identifying potential challenges early, allowing her to develop effective, tailored strategies that minimise cost and disruption. Her ability to balance technical precision with empathy ensures clients feel supported throughout the legal process, making her a trusted advisor in even the most sensitive and high-stakes matters.

Her family law expertise covers separation, divorce, and domestic violence matters, with a particular understanding of how legal issues intersect with children’s arrangements.

Beyond her legal work, Renee is a founding Director and Board Member of the PTSD Research Foundation WA, driven by her commitment to supporting those affected by trauma, especially individuals in uniformed services.
